Cultural Behaviorology

"Cultural Behaviorology" is a term coined by Los Horcones to refer to the sub-discipline of behaviorology that studies cultural behavior -cultural contingencies or macrocontingencies. See Glossary.

From an anthropological perspective, we can use the term "cultural anthropology" instead of "cultural behaviorology".

Cultural Behaviorology is the application of behavior analysis (a natural science of behavior) to the understanding of cultural phenomena.

We are in the process of writing a book about a cultural behaviorology. In this book we will present the behaviorological approach to the study of cultural behavior. We present a conceptual system (behavioral-analytic concepts) which allows us to analyze cultural behavior as part of macrocontingencies.
